Jacques Bermon Webster II, born April 30 1991, is more commonly popularly known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) who is the American rapper, singer and songwriter. His stage name is a tribute to the name of his favorite uncle, paired with the name of one of his heroes, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label contract with Epic Records and a publishing agreement with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint record deal with Epic Records and T.I. He signed a joint recording contract with Epic as well as T.I. Scott's first long-form project, Owl Pharaoh, was self released in 2013. In 2013, Scott released his first full-length mixtape Owl Pharaoh. The album was followed by Days Before Rodeo. The album that he released as his debut studio album, Rodeo (2015), was a hit due to the single "Antidote". His second album called Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016), became his first number one album on the Billboard 200. Scott's second album, Birds in the Trap: Sing McKnight (2016), was made in collaboration with Quavo. The album was called Huncho Jack Huncho and featured his debut Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode" which featured Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys was released on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. After the single "Franchise", Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it was a top hit on the Billboard 200. Scott was the first performer on the Hot 100 to have three songs hit the top spot within a year.
