Nathan John Feuerstein, who was born on the 30th of March 1990 is an American rapper. The artist has released two EPs with Capitol CMG, "I'm Free" (2012) and [3as well as a self-titled EP in 2014. Mansion was his debut major-label album. It was released on March 31st, 2015. The second studio album Therapy Session came out on April 22nd, 2016. It ranked 12 on the US Billboard 200. His albums have earned several accolades, some of which include: the Gospel Music Association Dove Award for Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year (Therapy Session).NF achieved mainstream popularity in 2017 with the release of Perception. the album charted at number one in the United States and was certified platinum. The album's third single, "Let You Down" was ranked at number 12 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 topped the charts across the globe as well as being a top ten single. The same commercial success was achieved in his follow-up album The Search (2019). Feuerstein said that during his youth, rap music was an escape for him. Feuerstein recorded songs on the Karaoke Machine and recorded his instrumentals on one mic, and his raps on in the other. Feuerstein released his own debut album Moments on November 29, 2010, under his real name. The first single he released was, "Alone", on August 2nd, 2011. Brooke Griffith and Tommee Profitt who produced the track and songwriter, were featured in the song. Xist Music came to Feuerstein’s work during the year 2012. On May 2, 2012 he released his debut extended version of I'm Free that included production work from Profitt. The tracklist consisted of nine songs , including "Alone". The EP also featured an exclusive version of "Alone" with Sean Simmonds. Xist released a teaser for the release of their self-titled extended play, NF, but Feuerstein parted ways with the label following a dispute and the production of NF was delayed. NF was however, a highlight of the show, featuring a song "Only One" with Shuree Wilkins on the label's compilation album Move Vol 1. On November 4, 2013, he released "Beautiful Addiction" as a single. Profitt returned to the song, along with vocals performed by Brady Schmitz (vocals) and Danielle Swift (vocals).
